Scholarships, Fellowships, and Grants

URECA Grants for 2024.

Tennessee Rural Fellowship Program A two year fellowship with a $55,000 base salary.

MTSU Liberal Arts Scholarships.

Truman Scholarship. Interested students must graduate with a 3.0 GPA or higher. A Truman Scholar is someone who is a “Change Agent” in our society.  The Truman pays for graduate school costs. MTSU Fellowship Interest Forms. You may also email Laura Clippard with questions.

Dr. Anne Moses IGNITE Fellowship. A paid fellowship program for passionate young leaders who want to jump-start their public service careers, specifically it is intended to mobilize women on college campuses to become civically and politically engaged.

PPIA Program works to promote the inclusion and full participation of underrepresented groups in public service and to advance their leadership roles throughout our civic institutions serving domestic and international affairs. For more information here at MTSU, contact Laura Clippard.

  • World Languages and Cultures Club. Language Tables. Meeting times included in link.
  • The College of Liberal Arts (CLA) will host two professional development events on Monday, October 21. Students do not need to sign up to attend, but signing up helps inform our community members about how many students will attend. All MTSU employees and community members are accepting of all confidence levels and will be patient throughout the events. A student may attend one or both.     • The CLA Elevator Pitch Workshop
    • Monday, October 21 • Andrew L. Todd Hall 206 • 4:30pm – 5:30pm
    • The Career Development Center will assist students with creating an elevator pitch to showcase skills, experience, and personal qualities. An elevator pitch is a short speech that a person recites to potential employers or persons that they are networking with to convey who they are, what they do, and why they do it.

    • Monday, October 21 • Andrew L. Todd Hall 224A (Art Gallery) • 5:30pm – 6:30pm
    • This networking event will bring students and local community members together to connect, share experiences, and foster meaningful relationships. Experience of community members includes law, government, journalism, communication, and more. It is an opportunity to gain experience in speaking about marketable skills and building a diverse network that can be invaluable for personal and professional growth. Refreshments are provided.
